Browsing the internet safely is fairly simple. But only for those who know what are the rules to do that. There are some simple steps that you may follow in order to keep yourself safe on the internet. Let us discuss the ones that you need to know: Avoid visiting sites without HTTPS: Computers use the HTTP protocol, which is not encrypted. Another protocol that uses Secure Sockets Layer encryption is HTTPS (SSL). When browsers utilize HTTPS to transmit data, even snoopy sniffers who gain access to the data are unable to read the data. Make sure the websites you visit are secure as a user. Observe the left-hand side of the website address: A lock symbol indicates a secure connection; an exclamation mark indicates a non-secure connection; and an info symbol indicates that the website is not using a private connection. Be aware of whatever you download: As people, we enjoy downloading music, pictures, apps, and games. mostly because they are entertaining and occasionally excite us. Next time, resist the urge to carelessly download attachments or software just for fun. An infection with malware or a virus may result from such an action. Download your software exclusively from reliable sites to avoid a nasty surprise. Additionally, check files for malware before clicking on them. You can halt the download of a file in the download toolbar if you're unsure whether it's safe to do so. Use ad-blockers for better protection: Today's Internet has far too many advertisements. A basic tool is an ad blocker. It works in conjunction with your browser and employs a variety of filters to prevent particular content. Ads that are distracting are removed by ad blockers, which also make pages simpler to read and stop fake news. Malvertising, a fraudulent practice of concealing malware within digital advertisements, is present in many ads. We all know you want your computer to start up faster than how it does. If your computer starts faster, you can start working earlier than you can. A faster start up can also help in various other things as well. If you want to speed up your start up, here are the tips that we think you can follow: ❶ Reduce the number of apps on start up: A big reason your PC may take more time to start up is the number of apps that need to start at the beginning. So, you need to reduce the number of apps that will start. This can be done by simply disabling the apps that can consume a high amount of resources at the start. Here are the steps that you may follow to do that: Open Settings > Click on Apps > Click on Startup > Click on Sort by dropdown > Select Startup impact from the menu > Turn off the toggle switch for any unnecessary apps which are indicated as 'High Impact' by the system. ❷ Disable app relaunch on start up: Even before you sign in, Windows 10 features a function that restarts the apps from your last session. This is a useful tool that can expedite picking up just where you left off, but it may have an adverse effect on system performance. If the option to restart apps at startup is turned on, follow these instructions to turn it off: Open Settings > Click on Accounts > Click on Sign-in options > Turn off the toggle switch under Restart apps. ❸ Disable background apps: Some programs on Windows 10 have the ability to carry out background operations even while you aren't using them. You can choose which applications can run in the background or disable the option to prevent all programs from running in the background if you want to speed up your computer as much as possible. Computer Virus হল একটি সফটওয়্যার প্রোগ্রাম , যা Computer অপারেটিং সিস্টেম এর পদ্ধতিগুলি কে পরিবর্তন এবং তার ক্ষতি করার জন্য ডিজাইন করা হয়েছে। এই Computer Virus গুলি সাধারনত কোন নথি (Document) বা Program এর যুক্ত হয়ে কম্পিউটার এ প্রবেশ করে। এবং যখনই সেই ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত প্রোগ্রাম টি কম্পিউটার এর মধ্যে কার্যকর হয় , সাথে সাথে ভাইরাস টি কম্পিউটার এর বিভিন্ন অংশে ছরিয়ে পরে। একটি Computer Virus যে কোন কম্পিউটার সিস্টেম এ অপ্রত্যাশিত এবং ক্ষতিকারক প্রভাব তৈরি করার ক্ষমতা রাখে। কম্পিউটার ভাইরাস কত প্রকার ও কি কি ? ইন্টারনেট দুনিয়ায় বহু ধরনের ভাইরাস রয়েছে। এদের উৎস, আক্রমণের কৌশল, লক্ষ্য, ক্ষতির ধরন এর ওপর ভিত্তি করে ভাইরাস কে যে সমস্ত ভাগে ভাগ করা যায় তা হল : 1. Web Scripting Virus এই ধরণের virus সর্বাধিক প্রচলিত। web scripting virus হল এক ধরনের malware যা web browser এর security অতিক্রম করে কম্পিউটারে ক্ষতিকারক code প্রবেশ করাতে সাহায্য করে। 2. Browser Hijacker Virus ব্রাউজার হাইজ্যাকার হ’ল একটি ম্যালওয়্যার প্রোগ্রাম যা ব্যবহারকারীর অনুমতি ব্যতীত ওয়েব ব্রাউজার সেটিংস সংশোধন করে এবং ব্যবহারকারীকে হাইজ্যাকার এর ইচ্ছা মত ওয়েবসাইট খুলতে বাদ্ধ করে। 3. Boot Sector Virus Boot sector virus হল এমন এক ধরনের virus যা floppy diskএর boot sector বা hard diskএর Master Boot Record (MBR) কে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত করে। 4. Direct Action Virus Direct action virus সাধারনত কোন .exe বা .com file এর সাথে যুক্ত করা থাকে। যখন এই .exe ফাইল গুলিকে execute করা হয় তখন ভাইরাস টি কম্পিউটার এর মধ্যে ছড়িয়া পরে। 5. If you do not know about Telegram yet, in short Telegram is a messaging platform that is similar to the more famous Whatsapp but with better security and feature. Along with that, Telegram provides better features compared to Whatsapp.  Telegram comes with a lot of features baked right into it which gives its users the power to change and modify their usage and enjoy using the app with its full potential. The desktop dedicated app is also a power iteration of the Telegram Mobile app. Telegram is always serious about privacy. Hence, Telegram has added a feature called Local Passcode. This locks the app after a certain time and requires a passcode to unlock it. It improves security as well as privacy on your Telegram desktop app. If you want to enable this feature, you may follow these simple steps: Open your Telegram Desktop app and click on the Hamburger icon at the top left corner of the app. Now click Settings. Afterwards, click Privacy and Security. Scroll down and click on Local Passcode. Now enter your passcode twice in the two input boxes and click Save Passcode. After that, a small menu will appear where you can change the passcode if you want and change the Auto-lock duration of your lock. Click the cross icon after you are finished. And you are done! After this, you will need to provide your passcode every time you try to open your Telegram app. You will even input the passcode every time after a certain amount of inactivity. আসসালামু আলাইকুম, দেশের সর্ববৃহৎ টেক প্লাটফর্মে আপনাকে স্বাগতম। আমরা যারা কম্পিউটার বা ল্যাপটপ এর সাথে কম বেশি যুক্ত তারা সকলেই এই দুটি নাম খুব বেশি শুনে থাকি। 32 বিট ও 64 বিট কী? এই নিয়ে তেমন কোনো ধারণা কিন্তু আমাদের জানা নেই। কিন্তু আমরা প্রায় সকল সময় এই কথা দুটি ব্যাবহার করে থাকি। তাই আজ আমরা জানবো 32 বিট 64 বিট কী ?এবং এর পার্থক্য। 32 বিট কী ? এভাবে যদি আমরা 32 পর্যন্ত যাই তাহলে 32 বিটের প্রসেসর (Processor) মানে হচ্ছে 2^32=4294967296. এখানে যে সংখ্যা টা দাঁড়ায় তা হলো প্রায় চার বিলিয়নের মত। আর এই চার বিলিয়নকে যদি আমরা গিগাবাইটে কনভার্ট করি তাহলে, সেটা চার গিগাবাইট অর্থ্যাৎ চার জিবি। সো 32 বিটের প্রসেসরে চার জিবি পর্যন্ত মেমরি বা র‍্যাম সাপোর্ট করে। 32 বিটের প্রসেসরে বা অপারেটিং সিস্টেমে যদি আপনি চার জিবির উপরে কোন র‍্যাম অ্যাড করেন, তাহলে সেই র‍্যাম টা ব্যবহার হবে না। মানে হল, 32 বিট অপারেটিং সিস্টেম (Operating System) বা প্রসেসরের মধ্যে শুধু মাত্র চার জিবি পর্যন্ত র‍্যাম ব্যবহার করা যাবে। এর বেশি ব্যবহার করা যাবে না। 64 বিট কী ? আর 64 বিট এর কথা যদি বলি তাহলে এর মেমরি লোকেশনের নাম্বার টাকে কনভার্ট করতে হবে। অর্থ্যাৎ 2^64=18446744073709551616 এত বড় লম্বা সংখ্যা দাঁড়ায়। আর এই টাকে যদি আমরা গিগাবাইটে কনভার্ট করি তাহলে, গিগাবিট ও অনেক বড় হয়ে যায়। সেই জন্য আমরা এটাকে এক্সাবাইটে কনভার্ট করব। অর্থ্যাৎ 16 ExaByte হবে। আর 16 Exabyte= 17179869184 GB বা গিগাবাইট। তাহলে বলা যায় যে, এই 16 এক্সাবাইট র‍্যাম ব্যবহার করা যাবে ৬৪ বিটের প্রসেসরে (Processor) বা অপারেটিং সিস্টেমে (Operating System)। কিন্তু এত বড় র‌্যাম এখনো আবিষ্কার হয় নি। আর কবে হবে সেটাও বলা মুশকিল। 32 বিট ও 64 বিট প্রসেসর এর মধ্যে পার্থক্য সহজ কথায় বলতে গেলে, 64-bit প্রসেসর, 32-bit প্রসেসরের চেয়ে বেশি সক্ষম। আজকাল প্রায় সমস্ত computer processor 64-বিট হয়ে থাকে । চলুন জেনে নিই 32-bit এবং 64-বিট প্রসেসর এর মধ্যে পার্থক্য কী। 32-bit এর তুলনায় 64-bit processor কোন কাজ করার জন্য command issues করে তখন processor প্রতি সেকেন্ডে অনেক বেশি ইনফর্মেশন ডেলিভার করতে পারে। 64-bit একবারে আরও ডেটা পরিচালনা করতে পারে। 32 বিট এর চেয়ে 64 বিটে উইন্ডোজের নিরাপত্তা ব্যবস্থা বেশি সক্রিয়, বিশেষ করে 64 বিটে Kernel Patch Protection অনেক বেশি শক্তিশালী হয়। 64 বিট systemএ ডিজিটাল সাইন ছাড়া কোন driver install করা যায় না। এতে সুবিধা হল ইনস্টল করা ড্রাইভার দ্বারা সিস্টেম যদি আক্রান্ত হয় বা ভাইরাস যদি সিস্টেমের কোন চেঞ্জ করতে চায় তাহলে OS তৎক্ষণাৎ ধরে ফেলে একটি 64-bit processor অনেক বেশি memory address সহ computational values store করতে সক্ষম। অর্থাৎএকটি 64-bit processor একটি 32-bit প্রসেসরের তুলনায় চার বিলিয়নেরও বেশি physical memory, access করতে সক্ষম। 32-bit প্রসেসরগুলি সীমিত পরিমাণে RAM ( 32-bit windows , 4 GB বা তার চেয়ে কম) পরিচালনা করতে সক্ষম এবং 64-bit প্রসেসর আরও অনেক বেশি ( 18.45 Exabyte ) ব্যবহার করতে সক্ষম। তো এই হল 32 বিট 64 বিট কী ?এবং এর পার্থক্য। আশা করি বুঝতে পেরেছেন তবুও থ্রেড সম্পর্কে কোন ধরনের প্রশ্ন বা মতামত থাকলে অবশ্যই কমেন্ট সেকশনে জানাবেন। ধন্যবাদ। ধন্যবাদ ও কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করছি (অ্যাডমিন) Nahid ভাই এবং (সিনিয়র সুপার মডারেটর) rayhanh ভাইয়ের প্রতি। ✪ আরও পড়ুনঃ Top 10 YouTube Vanced alternatives for Android What is digital marketing? Released on the first of 2019, this particular still is a user favorite processor for performance-oriented workload and usage. Well, got the upgrade two days earlier, I hesitated before upgrade but eventually I did it hoping that Xiaomi developer would be kind enough to fix the HDR tone mapping problem (too dark scene in HDR videos), but now I regret. After upgrading, found several bugs:  1. Dolby vision support is totally removed! Native Mi player cannot run DV videos, third party apps can, but color is totally washed out. 2. Netflix, Disney Plus does not support HDR or DV anymore. 3. Dolby Atmos sometimes giving low sound. 4. Icon arrangement is not consistent in Portrait and Landscape mode, they change position when screen rotates. 5. No option to turn off Google feeds. 6. Games still failed to detect proper resolution i.e., PUBG still starts in low resolution, need third party optimizer to set proper resolution. 7. Last but not least, HDR tone mapping problem still persist, too dark to watch HDR videos, some scenes are totally black. There are many more bugs in this update, its like newbie developers are trying test project. Xioami is renowned company, we did not expect such buggy update after suspending upgrade once. Please do not upgrade to Android 12 for Mi pad 5 yet. It does not worth it.
