Revelation 3:20 paints a beautiful picture of Jesus’ relentless love. Though the church in Laodicea had drifted into self-reliance and spiritual complacency, Jesus didn’t turn away. Instead, He stood at the door of their hearts, knocking—patiently inviting them into a deeper, life-giving relationship.
This invitation extends to us today. Jesus doesn’t force His way in; He waits for us to recognize our need for Him. If we open the door, He promises not just to enter, but to share a meal—a symbol of closeness, friendship, and fellowship.
Will you open the door today? He is waiting.
