It's a brand new year, and we want you to join us for an exciting new 2025!

As you can tell from the banner, we are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join the Xiaomi Global Community team of moderators. As a moderator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and engaging community environment on our forums.

What will you be doing?

• Moderating content: This includes reviewing posts and comments in the sub to ensure they adhere to our community guidelines.
• Enforcing community rules: Taking appropriate action against users who violate the rules.
• Be an active contributor: Actively create and share new posts in the sub and the community in general.
• Engaging with the community: Interacting with users, answering questions, and providing assistance.

Who should be a moderator?

• Currently an active member on Xiaomi Global Community.
• Enjoys creating and reading community content, and interacting with comments.
• Passion for Xiaomi products, and tech in general.
• Enjoys creating AI-generated content.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a forum team.
• Not already a moderator in any regional community forum.
• Tip: It helps if you are also active in your local Xiaomi community!

What do moderators get?

• The question should be, "what can I do for my community, not what can the community do for me".
• Chosen participation will be inducted as Intern Moderator and will have minimum 6 months probationary period.
• Eligible to participate in exclusive moderator activities throughout the year.
• Assesment reward every six months (depending on performance).

How to apply?
If you are interested in joining, simply complete the following steps:

• Create a new post in the AI Creation sub
• Tell us why you should be part of the moderators team. You may also include any offline community activities participated in.
• Suggest a community activity idea that can be run on the sub
• Publish your post and share the URL in the comments below
• Tips: Media files such as photos, videos and GIFs are allowed. Be creative - it's the AI Creation sub after all!
• Application period ends on Jan 17, 2025 at 12pm (GMT+8)
